Lennan Portal Tomb stands elegantly on the south-east ridge of a hill near Corfin Lough and offers excellent views of the surrounding countryside. The tomb opening is to the north-west and dates from around 3,000BC though the structure we see today does appear to have changed over time. Two stones support a massive capstone, however a back-stone and a fallen portal stone that were mentioned in one report in 1936 are now missing.
