My Dad worked for Dublin Corpo and helped demolish part of the old Dublin wall, and found some clay pipes with the makers name on them in Mullinahack i always wondered where it was.
My Great Grandfather Martin Kennedy was a Pipe maker, and he lived in Wormwood Gate. First time I’ve seen this photo. Times must have been so hard then.
My great grandfather Edward A O’Reilly and his father before him, James O’Reilly, operated The Shamrock Hotel at 9 Wormwood Gate. Would love to find a photo!
