The remains of Carrick Church and graveyard stand adjacent to Carrick Castle which was featured on this site before. Its believed the Church may date back to the 13th century. It appears the entrance would have been at the most northerly wall, two beautiful Gothic windows mark the south wall, with the most complete western wall rising into a belfry. The graveyard is dotted with beautifully ornate headstones and tombs.
