Lisronagh Church, Tipperary, Ireland

Lisronagh Church is a Board of First Fruits Church of Ireland edifice, built between 1831 and 1832. It stands adjacent to a medieval castle and both the castle and the church are sited right at the center of what was an expansive, now deserted, medieval settlement, with the church itself being built on the foundations of an earlier medieval church. The church is comprised of a three bay nave, with a porch to its north and a two-stage tower to its west which is crowned with carved stone pinnacles and crenellations. The lancet windows in the tower still have their timber louvers/slats intact. Lisronagh Church was dismantled in 1923 and is now roofless.
